Be BRIGHT. Experience the joy and wonder of fireflies lighting up the summer night - Kettle Moraine State Forest - Pike Lake Unit, Washington County
Be Happy. Enjoy food and refreshments, crafts, guided hikes among the hills on the Ice Age National Scenic Trail, and a bonfire and s'mores at dusk, and of course watching fireflies light up the summer sky!
Be Starlight. Savor the warm air, the chorus of lakeside peepers, and take a starlight stroll along Indian Lake. It's magical under the light of the moon and around a bonefire.
Be Quality Time. Bring your community - daughters, mothers, sisters, friends - or come solo and be curious about who you might meet.
6:00 - 9:00 pm Meet and gather at the Pike Lake shelter near the beach and amphitheater. Enjoy guided hikes throughout the area and on the Ice Age National Scenic Trail, a picnic dinner, live music and kid crafts, bonfire and of course, watching fireflies light up the summer sky.
Limit: 100 women
Cost: $12/woman, girls under 18 are FREE
Age: For woman ages 2 and above
Registration will close Monday, July 6 or when the event reaches capacity. A confirmation email to all registered attendees will be sent Tuesday, July 7 with final details and last-minute reminders about the event.
