Be RESILIENT– Saturday, May 18, 2019, 10-mile Hike, Whitewater Lake and Blackhawk Segments in Walworth County
Be Great. "Everyone has inside her a piece of good news. The good news is that you don't know who great you can be!" ~Anne Frank. Discover a new level of greatness within yourself and join us for a 10-mile hike.
Be Vibrant. Feel the wind and sunshine on your skin, listen for bird calls. Pay attention to the vivid colors of spring, the textures of trees, grass and trail.
Resiliency is located deep in your soul. It helps if your hiking boots fit and your take care of yourself with plenty of water and snacks.
9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Park and REGISTER at Ole Oleson Historic Log Cabin, north of US Highway 12. Follow the yellow "Ice Age Trail Event" signs for parking location.
Age: For women age 15 and above.
Limit: 80 women
Cost: $10 per individual, non-refundable
This event is for women, by women, as part of a grant through REI's Force of Nature initiative.
Registration closes Monday, May 13. If the event is FULL, registration will close upon reaching capacity.
