Description
Be Bright. Experience the joy and wonder of fireflies lighting up the summer night and be happy. Enjoy a picnic dinner, live music, and a hike among the hills following the Ice Age Trail yellow blaze. Savor the warm air, the chorus of lakeside peepers, and take a starlight stroll along Indian Lake. Bring your tribe – daughter, mother, sister, friend, partner – or come solo and curious about who you might meet.
Details: Saturday, July 13, Indian Lake County Park, 6:00 – 9:00 pm
6:00 pm – 9:00 pm: Meet at the new shelter. Guided hikes with a variety of distances and terrain, on-going throughout evening.
6:15 pm: Picnic dinner served. Live music – Guided hikes – Kid’s crafts
8:00 pm: Bonfire & S’mores
Dusk…watch fireflies emerge from the prairie grasses.
9:00 pm: Depart
Registration is FREE and open for woman ages 2 and above!
