Be EMPOWERED. Saturday, October 12, 2019 - Stewardship project at Hartland Marsh, Waukesha County

Be Giving: Give back to Mother Nature who nurtures you. We'll arm you with handsaws and clippers for removing invasive buckthorn. Permanent protection of the Ice Age Trail also involves the responsible management of Alliance owned land. There is a season for everything and fall is a great time to tackle invasive species. Help unveil the beauty of the Hartland Marsh. Join volunteers who are faithfully restoring the land to a mix of oak and prairie savanna. You'll work side-by-side with some of the most dedicated Trail enthusiasts you'll ever meet from the Waukasha Milwaukee County Chapter. 

8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. 

Limit: 60 women

Age: Women 10 and above
