Be FIERCE - Backpacking 101: Multi-day backpacking trip in the Kettle Moraine State Forest - Southern Unit, Friday, September 25 - Sunday, September 27. 

Be strong and self-sufficient. You’ll carry your own pack and gear on this multi-day backpacking trip. Be immersed in rugged beauty. Hike along glittering kettle lakes, through mesic forests, and across winding boardwalks. Camping will be available on Thursday night, September 24 if needed. 

Specific itinerary and additional details will be available to all confirmed attendees in late summer.  

No previous backpacking experience necessary. This trip is geared toward first time backpackers who have NOT participated in previous Trailtessa backpacking events. 

Trailtessa Be FIERCE is a woman-specific hiking event in partnership with REI's Force of Nature initiative.
